Baby Milestones and a Knight in Shining Armor

Little girl ate her first solid meal this week.  She didn't take to the rice cereal and formula as well as straight pears.  We just gave her a little bit though because straight food can be hard on her little organs still developing.  I might try some sweet potatoes mixed in with rice cereal today.  She also learned to roll over last weekend.  I tried getting a video but she flopped back over... you get the idea.  She can do it!

Last Friday AJ and I went to the Ethnic Enrichment Festival in Kansas City.  It was so much fun watching the different cultures perform and not to mention eating all the delicious food! AJ finally got to eat a Donerkebab (he's been craving them since his mission) from Turkey and drink some guarana from Brasil.  I preferred Edemame from Japan, Pad Thai from Thailand, and Baklava from Greece.  Mmmmmmm, we should have this every weekend!  Here is a photo op that we got near some European country... maybe Scotland... we can't remember.
Other good news is that I have had a few job interviews this week at an organization that I love so I hope to hear back some even better news that I got the job! I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
